Car Rentals Can Avoid Paying Extra

Car Rentals can avoid paying anything extra. As the summer vacations approaches, we generally make our travelling plans. If we think about car rentals, we should be ready for a small homework consisting of checking our insurance company and credit card company, whether they are covering any protection against the car rentals. While most of the car rental companies do a large sales, we should be ready to check all the details beforehand.

The biggest insurance products that a car rental company try to sell are liability and a loss damage waiver which is also known as Collision Damage Waiver. The state law in Ohio states that we should carry the insurance on liability with us during car rentals. According to Federal Trade Commission, a Collision Damage Waiver is a guarantee that the car rental company will pay for damages to the car rented. But it also states that it wont be paying for physical damages or damages to personal property.
